# Is it legal to sell and buy cannabis in Thailand?

Since June 9th, 2022, cannabis has been completely removed from Thailand's list of controlled drugs. It is now classified as a controlled herb. 

This means that it is legal to do the following:

* Grow and Cultivate cannabis
* Consume cannabis on private property
* Buy and sell cannabis
 
There are however certain restrictions and limitations to this. The following is currently still illegal:

* Produce cannabis extracts that contains more than 0.2% THC
* Consume cannabis in public
* Buy and consume cannabis if you are under the age of 20
* Buy and consume if you are pregnant and/or breast feeding
