# Differences between Sativa, Indica and Hybrid strains

**Sativa**, **Indica**, and **Hybrid** are three different types of cannabis strains, each with its own unique characteristics.

**Sativa strains** are typically known for their uplifting and energizing effects. They tend to have a higher THC to CBD ratio, which means they can induce a more cerebral high. Sativas are often used during the day as they can provide a boost of creativity and motivation, making them a popular choice for activities such as hiking or socializing.

**Indica strains**, on the other hand, are known for their relaxing and sedative effects. They typically have a higher CBD to THC ratio, which can provide a more body-focused high. Indicas are often used at night as they can help users unwind and get a good night's sleep.

**Hybrid strains** are a combination of both sativa and indica strains, and can have varying effects depending on their genetic makeup. Hybrid strains can range from being more sativa-dominant to more indica-dominant, and their effects can vary accordingly. Hybrid strains are often used to achieve a specific balance of effects, such as combining the uplifting qualities of a sativa with the relaxing effects of an indica.
